... to my website. I am Marcel Nolte, an a bit unusual student, a nerd ;-)

 

I love coding - what's not very common in my course. Surely this is caused by my work on Comodore 64 / 128 and some Z80 based machines (BASIC was the standard interface language) in my early years. It took some years to get me away from basic to better languages. Since these experiences I like computers - and they seem to like me ... caused  by this fact I call my computers - like an admin has to do - by female names. By the way this CMS is developed by my self. And because I work several years on linux boxes I now own a small company  which provides webhosting and webdesign, especially customized solutions. Like every real computer scientist I am infected by the hunter-gatherer-syndrome and I like working by night. Furthermore I love music - no special genre, instead the good mix (but please no so-called "Pop").

 

In programming as well as otherwise I try to keep style even while I am not the most orderly guy. But only a genius dominates the chaos. This kind of elaborateness is at the expense of the productivity, but it was always payed back. Quality over quantity.
